Chateau
Flammel Members:
Chateau was formed in February 2002 by a group of frustrated artists and
thespians who wanted a place to call home and a way that would focus their
energies independent of any SCA political branch. As officers of the
Baronial Council, the group felt that their dependence on the barony for
shelter, support and as an outlet had made them complacent. And so they sought the
personal growth that comes from making one's own way. Thus, would these
three became better citizens, officers and cratsmen. In return they have more to
give to the SCA as a whole, from which they had benefitted all these years.
As both personal growth and service were critical features of any one member, the Chateau devised specific criteria for new members to join. This may be found on our Membership page. Currently our first circle members are as follows, however there are additional affilliates who hold the same privileges as membership with the exception of voting--
